Childcare at Monkey Puzzle Feltham

A day with us, from first cuddle to school-ready.

Here’s how a day will work at our new Feltham nursery: the rooms, the people, what children learn, what they eat and how we help them settle.

Brand-new, built for little ones

The room is the third teacher.

Every room is being designed and scaled for the children who’ll use it, and each age group will have its own garden.

Familiar, but child-sized

Forest School days

Babies get more room

The most floor space per child in the nursery, with zones for sleep, meals and play, so the youngest can roll, sit, stand and take first steps.

Toddlers reach everything

Toys, books and activities at their height, potties and toilets inside the room, and a home corner full of small versions of the things they see you use.

Preschool gets ready

Construction, a home corner, books, music and art, plus quieter spaces for friendships and feelings. Small-group time builds the habits that make Reception feel familiar.

Care

Safe, secure and ready to explore.

When a child feels truly safe they have the confidence to try new things. So every child will have a whole room team plus one Key Person: someone who learns their routine and personality first, keeps their Learning Journey up to date, and is the person you talk to at pick-up.

Four promises

  • A positive, lasting memory of childhood
  • Care for every child as if they were our own
  • Know and understand your hopes for your child
  • Use all our training to develop the whole personality

The small things matter most: cuddles while they settle, praise when they try, a gentle voice for babies and a proper listen for the bigger ones. Our team will be trained to spot the quiet signs that a child is unsure, and achievements go up on the walls, on our achievement trees, and straight to you.

Curriculum

Starts with the EYFS. Goes way further.

The Early Years Foundation Stage is the framework every Reception class in England uses, so what children learn here carries straight into school. We teach it through play, indoors and out, and you’ll see it in photos and observations in the Famly app.

Learning through play

Babies

Communication, movement and feeling safe, through play, singing and chatting.

Tweenies and toddlers

The prime areas plus a first taste of books, numbers, art and the world outside, including trips out.

Preschool

Child-led play balanced with small-group activities across all seven areas, so Reception feels like the next step rather than a leap.

Extra-curricular

A week stitched through with specialists.

Enrichment will be built into the timetable and included in your fees, with every child getting a turn, pitched to their age.

Cooking club

Real ingredients, real mixing and measuring, from babies to preschool.

Yoga and mindfulness

Story-led stretches and breathing at a child’s own pace.

Music and movement

Songs, instruments and dance with a specialist.

Languages and cultures

A celebration of every language in our nursery family. Our team speaks French, Greek, Korean and Spanish.

Super Star Sport

Football, basketball, gymnastics, athletics, tennis and cricket in six-week blocks.

Forest School

Mud, weather and trees for toddlers and preschoolers, with risk managed by trained staff.

Nutrition

Three meals, two snacks, zero fuss.

Cooked fresh on site by our own nursery chef, to menus created with early years nutrition specialist Laura Matthews. They meet EYFS and DfE nutrition guidance, rotate over four weeks with a vegetarian option every day, and children serve themselves at breakfast and snack time.

In between

Allergies and preferences. Dietary needs are agreed at registration, every allergy gets a care plan, and plates follow a traffic-light system so the right meal reaches the right child. Food from home isn’t allowed, which is how we keep every allergy under control. Allergies Dietary preferences No restrictions

Getting started

From waiting list to first day.
